The Truxor DM 5045 is truly amphibious, working from both the land and water. The ultra-lightweight construction allows for minimal impact to wetlands, turf and landscape near the water. The Truxor DM 5045 can be equipped with a sickle bar for cutting plants such as cattails and phragmites. There is also a sickle bar with a collection basket for cutting and raking of nuisance plants such as lily pads or water chestnuts. The same collection basket is also great for skimming both algae and duckweed. The Truxor DM 5045 can also be equipped with a suction dredge for area-specific "spot dredging" efforts to remove sediment deltas.
Rates of productivity vary greatly depending on the type of material and distance to shoreline disposal points, but averages from 0.25-1.5 acres per day.
