Fish Stocking Services
A staff biologist at Black Lagoon can assist as you develop a fish-stocking plan for your pond. Our recommendations can be thorough (through an electro-shock or net survey) or based on industry standards, judging from the size and age of your pond and a list of known species.
Biological Augmentation
Black Lagoon offers chemical-free lake and pond treatments to balance your aquatic ecosystems with all-natural biological augmentation.
Our biological control routinely integrates the application of beneficial bacteria into many of our integrated pond management programs. We have a series of privately labeled bacterial inoculants and pond dye products that can augment any algae control initiative.
These products can either be applied by one of our trained staff biologists or by the do-it-yourselfer as there are no permits required to use these products.
Phosphorus Removal

Phoslock® was developed to remove phosphorus from water bodies and restore water quality in ponds, lakes and reservoirs through a patented phosphorus locking technology.
Goose Control
The Away With Geese system is an innovative and proven way to get rid of geese.
Our geese control products are maintenance-free, solar powered and one-hundred percent guaranteed to deter geese and work without the use of harsh chemicals, dogs, reflectors, noise making devices or inhumane means.
Away With Geese products feature a solar-powered light that is scarcely noticeable to humans but is very disruptive to the sleep of the geese, causing them to find another habitat after just a few restless nights. The solar-powered lights charge each day and flash 360 degrees, every two seconds from dusk to dawn, at eye-level of the geese. They require no maintenance and the durable ABS plastic of their bases will withstand any weather conditions. Each unit will get rid of geese in a 100-yard radius.
Shoreline Stabilization
Native plants stabilize shorelines, acting as a buffer between manicured lawn areas and your pond.
The roots of native plants filter and absorb polluted runoffs before they enter the water. Additionally, they anchor soil while beautifying your shoreline. The height and density of native greenery is also a natural control for Canadian geese who prefer manicured turf.
